Vivien Steels is a poet and a painter, who has been widely published with over 220 poems in poetry presses, magazines and anthologies and more on the Internet, sometimes with artwork. Her paintings are intertwined with her poems, which they illustrate and she has occasional exhibitions of her paintings and poems. Vivien has designed/printed four collections of her illustrated poems - *PROMISE*, *MANDALA*, *SECRETS*, and recently *HOME FROM HOME* and has a newly designed website featuring her poetry, artwork and prose called “TALKING PAINT” @ www.freewebs.com/viviensteels . She also writes short stories for adults and children, articles and plays and has started to write her first novel. Vivien lives in Nottingham, England and has been studying at Nottingham University doing a part-time course in Creative Writing. At the moment she is undertaking a home tutorial course in Writing for Children.
